Basically a Face balanced putter is designed to be more forgiving on off centre hits but gives you less feedback on your stroke than a toe balanced putter would. Some teaches say toe balanced putters open and close through the stroke naturally whilst others say it makes no difference. Toe balanced putters will twist more on off centre hits giving you more feedback. Rest your putter on your fingers if the face points towards the sky its face balanced if the toe drops down its toe balanced.
Can you tell us what is meant by toe balanced and face balanced ??
