if you “drag” through impact, you may spin it more, but the lower traajectory will kill the stopping power, leading to a shot that will check up and roll as opposed to stopping faster. using the “throw” technique will probly help you stop the ball quicker
not necessarily the throw, it will create the loft which will allows it to land softly, but not the spin. it’s all about clean connection and moving through the ball.
good question, should this be more drag or throw?
Would the swing be more drag or throw…I’m guessing throw. BTW….cleaning clubface grooves is key. I had so much gunk in mine and was not aware of it until I got a groove cleaner.
